Role & Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance across boutique and back-of-house facilities, including basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry tasks.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from store leadership to ensure continuous retail operations and a premium client environment.
- Coordinate and supervise external contractors and specialised technicians while ensuring work complies with Chanel’s quality and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inventory of spare parts and tools, and complete required documentation for facilities records.
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems, report deficiencies, and recommend cost‑effective repairs or upgrades.
- Support ad hoc store projects such as visual merchandising installs, small renovations and technical set‑ups for events.
Qualifications
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or technical certificate in building maintenance, electrical, plumbing or related trade preferred.
- Practical knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry repairs and preventive maintenance routines.
- Ability to read technical schematics, follow safety procedures and use hand and power tools safely.
- Flexible availability to respond to urgent requests and occasional after‑hours or weekend work.
- Legal authorization to work in Panama and willingness to undergo background and safety checks.

Experience
