Chanel seeks a Logistics Manager for a 4-month contract at its International Logistics Centre in Le Meux, France—a dynamic role managing operations and teams in luxury beauty distribution.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Foster close-proximity management that encourages active listening, team accountability, and progressive autonomy among direct reports
  • Develop employee competencies and engagement through structured management cycles including development interviews and training plans, with particular attention to workplace wellbeing
  • Plan and oversee team operations to meet logistics objectives by fostering cross-functional versatility and synergies across distribution activities
  • Champion organizational and process change initiatives by serving as a field liaison and facilitator for teams transitioning to new systems and procedures
  • Deliver regular reporting and structured communication to the Operations Manager on projects, performance results, and operational events
  • Lead implementation, testing, and pilot phases while supporting teams in adopting new tools and methodologies
  • Monitor performance indicators, analyze variance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives through corrective action plans and project management

Qualifications

  • TAM (Technician/Agent de Maîtrise) or Cadre-level education
  • Solid foundation in safety and quality management practices
  • Demonstrated capability in team leadership or willingness to take a first structured step into management responsibility
  • Strong affinity for close-proximity management and team animation
  • Proficiency in activity reporting and operational performance tracking
  • Proven change management acumen with ability to facilitate organizational transitions
