Chanel seeks a Logistics Manager (CDD) for Chanel Parfums Beauté in Le Meux, France — fixed-term mission beginning May 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end logistics operations for Chanel Parfums Beauté at the Le Meux site, including inbound receiving, warehousing, picking, packing and outbound distribution.
- Manage direct reports and external partners (3PLs, carriers), fostering performance through KPIs, coaching and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure inventory accuracy, cycle counting and stock replenishment to meet production and commercial planning requirements.
- Coordinate transport operations and carrier contracts to optimise cost, service levels and on‑time delivery performance.
- Oversee compliance with regulatory and quality requirements applicable to cosmetics distribution (traceability, storage conditions, documentation).
- Drive logistics projects tied to product launches, packaging changes and process automation; manage timelines, budgets and cross-functional stakeholders (production, quality, commercial).
- Prepare regular operational reporting, monitor costs and contribute to annual logistics budgeting and contingency planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience managing logistics or distribution operations—ideally within cosmetics, FMCG or pharma supply chains.
- Demonstrated people management experience with ability to lead operational teams and external providers.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, transport management and warehouse processes.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and traceability standards relevant to beauty products.
