Chanel seeks a Logistics Maintenance Technician in Venette, France for its Perfumes & Beauty manufacturing site (permanent position).
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on logistics and material-handling equipment (conveyors, palletisers, automated handling systems and dock interfaces) to ensure continuous production flow.
- Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults; carry out diagnostic tests and root-cause analysis to reduce recurrence.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, update technical documentation and report equipment availability and spare-parts consumption.
- Coordinate with production, quality and external service providers to schedule shutdowns and rapid interventions with minimal disruption.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability, reduction of downtime and optimisation of spare parts stocks.
- Ensure compliance with site safety standards and regulatory requirements during maintenance activities; support lockout/tagout and risk-assessment procedures.
Qualifications
- Diploma in industrial maintenance, electromechanics or equivalent vocational qualification (BTS/DUT or CAP/BEP level preferred).
- Proven track record of mechanical and electrical maintenance within an industrial or logistics environment; experience in cosmetics or FMCG manufacturing is an advantage.
- Familiarity with PLC-based control systems and ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- CACES certification for counterbalance trucks or equivalent material-handling qualifications preferred.
- Strong commitment to safety, methodical documentation habits and ability to work in cross-functional teams; flexibility for shift work or on-call rotations as required.

Experience
Several years of hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial or logistics setting, with demonstrated competence on conveyors, automated handling systems and associated electromechanical equipment; prior exposure to manufacturing environments in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals or FMCG is advantageous.
Education
Diploma in industrial maintenance, electromechanics or related vocational training (BTS/DUT or CAP/BEP preferred).
