Chanel seeks a Maintenance Technician for its new Venette manufacturing facility. Manage automated logistics systems for fragrance production.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide daily technical assistance to operators on corrective maintenance actions while maintaining strict safety protocols
- Offer technical guidance and operator training during maintenance interventions
- Identify and propose continuous improvement solutions based on all maintenance work across electrical, mechanical, and automation systems
- Liaise with IT teams on system-related matters
- Coordinate with equipment suppliers to establish prevention plans and contribute to technical aspects of maintenance contracts
- Execute and participate in preventive maintenance activities
- Develop and implement equipment inspection protocols and standard operating procedures
- Monitor and maintain equipment performance indicators and dashboards
- Ensure adequate spare parts inventory through stock management, inventory tracking, and ordering procedures
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, particularly in automation systems
- Participate in implementation of new equipment projects including feasibility studies, requirement definition, deployment oversight, and commissioning
- Analyze, intervene in, adjust, and optimize automated equipment performance
Qualifications
- Advanced technical qualification in industrial maintenance (Bac+2/3 or equivalent)
- Significant experience as a maintenance technician in demanding industrial environments
- Proficiency in automation programming languages (UNITY, PL7, Step7, TIA Portal)
- Strong computer literacy and technical IT competency
- Fluent English comprehension for technical documentation and international supplier interaction
- Demonstrated capability to understand technical impacts and interdependencies

Significant experience as a maintenance technician with demonstrated expertise in automation systems within demanding industrial environments. Proven track record in both preventive and corrective maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and automation disciplines.
Education
Advanced technical qualification in industrial maintenance (Bac+2 or Bac+3 level, or equivalent international qualification)
