Chanel in Taipei City seeks a Logistics Executive — Inbound Logistics to manage inbound shipments, customs clearance and 3PL coordination.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end inbound shipments from vendors and factories to Taipei distribution hubs, ensuring on-time receipt and documentation accuracy.
  • Coordinate customs clearance, import compliance and duties with brokers and government authorities to minimise delays and ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Liaise with 3PL partners and freight forwarders to optimise routing, capacity and cost; monitor carrier performance and service-level agreements.
  • Oversee goods receiving, inspection and inventory reconciliation; resolve discrepancies between shipment documentation and physical receipts.
  • Maintain accurate inbound logistics records in ERP/WMS and generate regular operational reports and KPIs (OTD, receiving accuracy, lead times).
  • Collaborate with merchandising, planning, warehouse and retail teams to align inbound flows with store replenishment and launch schedules.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline inbound processes, reduce lead times and enhance documentation workflows.
  • Prepare and control freight and import documentation (AWB, B/L, commercial invoices, packing lists) and support internal and external audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing inbound logistics, freight forwarding or customs operations—experience within fashion, luxury retail or CPG preferred.
  • Proven track record working with 3PLs, freight forwarders and customs brokers in an import environment.
  • Strong numeracy and attention to detail with demonstrated ability to reconcile shipment and inventory discrepancies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners across multiple time zones.
