Chanel in Paris seeks a Level 1 User Support Apprentice (Alternance) starting Sept 2026 — corporate IT helpdesk apprenticeship in Paris.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as first point of contact for corporate end-user incidents and service requests via the helpdesk; log, prioritise and track tickets in the ITSM system.
- Perform first-line diagnostics and resolutions for desktop, laptop, mobile and peripheral issues; execute password resets and basic account administration.
- Install and configure standard software and ensure corporate device readiness for new joiners and hot-desking requirements.
- Escalate complex incidents to Level 2/third-party suppliers with complete technical notes and follow through until resolution.
- Maintain and update the knowledge base and asset inventory; contribute to continuous-improvement initiatives and documentation.
- Support rollouts of workplace tools and participate in scheduled IT maintenance or user training sessions as required.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in an accredited vocational or higher-education programme in IT, computer science or equivalent (BTS/DUT/ Bachelor's) qualifying for alternance.
- Strong customer-service orientation with clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Organised, dependable and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Demonstrable problem-solving aptitude and eagerness to learn established IT processes and security standards.

Experience
No prior professional experience required; internships, prior helpdesk exposure or technical coursework are advantageous. The role is designed for a candidate seeking practical on-the-job training within a corporate IT environment.

Enrolled in a recognised IT or computer-science vocational/undergraduate programme suitable for an alternance/apprenticeship (BTS, DUT, Licence/Bachelor or equivalent).
