Chanel Legal Intern position in Geneva, Switzerland — 6-month internship supporting the legal and IP team with research, documentation, and administrative coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct precise legal research and analysis
- Document and input information into case management databases, maintaining and updating tracking systems including ALM implementation
- Compile, review, and assist in drafting legal documents
- Maintain and file records both electronically and in paper format
- Communicate project updates and progress to team members
- Verify outstanding balances with external legal counsel
- Prepare summaries and support materials for presentations and training sessions
- Organize materials for case files and projects
- Draft meeting minutes and memoranda
- Review professional publications and create reference tools to maintain firm knowledge management
- Provide efficient administrative support and information services to the legal team
- Manage schedules including meeting organization and coordination of video conferences and teleconferences
- Arrange and organize travel preparations, itineraries, expense reports, and invoice processing
- Coordinate team and stakeholder events, including venue selection, catering, agenda development, and guest list compilation
Qualifications
- Law degree or equivalent qualification preferred
- Prior experience in a legal environment preferred
- Strong administrative, organizational, and research skills
- Knowledge of fundamental legal principles

- Proactive, pragmatic, and detail-oriented approach
- Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative team abilities
- Excellent written and oral communication in French and English; practical knowledge of German preferred
