Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Corporate Legal team on distribution and competition law matters, including selective distribution networks, agency and commercial agreements.
  • Conduct French and EU competition law research and prepare concise legal memoranda and risk assessments for business stakeholders.
  • Draft and review commercial contracts and ancillary documents (distribution agreements, NDAs, supplier letters, compliance clauses) under supervision.
  • Monitor regulatory and case-law developments in antitrust and distribution, summarise implications and propose practical guidance for internal teams.
  • Assist with compliance projects, internal trainings, due diligence exercises and responses to regulatory or litigation requests.
  • Prepare presentation materials and briefing notes for cross-functional meetings; coordinate information flows with sales, compliance and operations teams.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Master 1 or Master 2 (or equivalent) in Law with a specialization or strong interest in competition/antitrust and commercial law.
  • Excellent academic record and demonstrable coursework or prior internships in competition law, commercial contracts or corporate law.
  • Strong drafting and analytical abilities with attention to legal risk and commercial impact.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism and the ability to work with senior stakeholders across functions.
  • Availability to commence the internship in July 2026 and to comply with French internship regulations.

Experience

Prior internship experience (1+ internships) in a law firm or in-house legal department with exposure to competition/antitrust or commercial contracts is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Education

Enrolled in a university Master's programme in Law (Master 1 or Master 2) with a focus on business law, competition/antitrust law or commercial law.
