Chanel is seeking a Legal Intern for Brand Protection in Paris. Ideal candidates will have a law degree, experience in Intellectual Property, and be proficient in English and French.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct investigations into counterfeit and parallel online offers.
  • Monitor platforms and social media for brand protection.
  • Participate in anti-counterfeiting efforts within the EMEA region and globally combat parallel markets.
  • Analyze and optimize data, and oversee reporting on anti-counterfeiting and parallel market actions.
  • Provide support to team activities and conduct legal research.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Law (Bac+5) with a focus on Intellectual Property.
  • Previous experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, preferably in Intellectual Property.
  • Knowledge of distribution law is an asset.

Skills

Strong analytical and evaluative skills, particularly with Excel and Office Suite. Technophile with a passion for technical issues. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple communication channels and incoming requests. Proficient in English and French, both written and spoken.

Experience

A first successful experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, ideally in Intellectual Property.

Education

Advanced degree in Law (Bac+5).
