Chanel seeks a Legal Intern for IT and Digital Contracts in Paris (Neuilly-sur-Seine). Six-month internship supporting Legal Tech & Digital across Fashion, Fragrances & Beauty, and Jewelry divisions.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Draft, analyze, negotiate, and manage IT and digital contracts in French and English, including software licensing, SaaS agreements, maintenance contracts, development agreements, integration services, consulting engagements, and confidentiality accords
  • Conduct compliance assessments on technology projects in accordance with personal data protection regulations, internal security and AI policies, and enterprise-wide compliance frameworks
  • Prepare legal correspondence, memoranda, notes, and meeting minutes related to technology initiatives
  • Provide assistance, coordinate, and liaise with internal operational and commercial teams and external partners to support project execution and oversight
  • Conduct legal research and monitor regulatory developments in IT law, digital commerce, and data privacy
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of legal practices and processes within the organization

Qualifications

  • University degree (Master's level) in Law with specialization in IT law, intellectual property, or digital law
  • Prior experience in a law firm or corporate legal department (internship, apprenticeship, or contract role)
  • Demonstrated expertise in IT contract law and intellectual property law
  • Prior experience negotiating technology and IT service contracts
  • Fluent in English and French, both written and oral
  • Strong legal writing and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail

Experience
