Chanel seeks a Legal Assistant intern in Paris to support the legal team on French market compliance and regulatory matters.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support legal team in contract review and documentation
- Assist with compliance and regulatory matters pertaining to the French market
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on relevant topics
- Maintain legal files and case documentation
- Coordinate with internal departments on legal matters and inquiries
Qualifications
- Enrollment in or completion of a Master's degree in Law or equivalent legal studies
- Strong knowledge of French commercial law and market regulations
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in French
- Proficiency in legal research methodologies and documentation
Skills
Experience
Internship or entry-level legal experience preferred; exposure to corporate law or compliance functions is advantageous.
Education
Master's degree in Law or related legal discipline, or currently enrolled in such a program.
