The Leather Goods Team Supervisor leads a team of leatherworkers at Chanel’s integrated manufacturing workshops in Verneuil-en-Halatte, overseeing production, safety, quality, delivery, cost and output. The role coordinates model launches, optimizes people and equipment, and develops team capability and continuous improvement; the position is based at a site not served by public transport.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure employee safety and foster a daily safety culture.
- Coordinate model launches in collaboration with product development teams.
- Organize work within the area by setting production priorities with planning and scheduling.
- Lead and unite the team, fostering an environment of listening, dialogue and cooperation.
- Improve the area’s operational performance across safety, quality, service and efficiency.

Qualifications
- Significant experience in the leather goods sector, ideally in preparation, cutting or manufacturing activities.
- Previous experience leading a team, or demonstrable managerial potential recognized by peers.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to unite a team.
- A hands-on approach and the ability to support teams with high standards and care.
- Organized, pragmatic and solution-oriented.
- Sensitivity to the quality standards specific to luxury crafts.
- Comfortable using IT tools for management and activity monitoring.
