Chanel Quality Control Consultant - Leather Goods position in Florence, Italy. Independent consultant role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections at manufacturing facilities and subcontractors to verify leather goods meet company quality standards
- Evaluate product defects (minor, major, critical) based on established quality control techniques and professional expertise
- Identify quality issues and communicate findings to the designated technical inspector and Chanel's Quality Savoir-Faire team
- Prepare and distribute detailed quality inspection reports and supporting documentation to manufacturers and internal stakeholders
- Support the organization in maintaining compliance with critical control points and general quality guidelines
- Collaborate with Chanel's Quality Savoir-Faire team to establish and refine quality standards and inspection protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a quality control consultant in the luxury leather goods sector
- Expertise in leather goods quality control techniques and defect evaluation methodologies
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated diplomatic approach to managing stakeholder relationships
- Excellent organizational abilities, with meticulous attention to detail and deadline management
