Role & Responsibilities
- Receive work orders and prepare component kits to specification for watch assembly or production lines.
- Pick, verify and stage components according to bill of materials and pick lists, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Label, pack and deliver kits to production cells while maintaining full traceability of parts and serial numbers.
- Perform visual quality checks on components and report discrepancies or non-conforming items promptly.
- Maintain orderly kitting area: organise parts storage, rotate stock by FIFO, and update inventory records.
- Collaborate with production planners, quality and logistics teams to support on-time manufacturing schedules.
- Follow company hygiene, safety and cleanroom protocols applicable to watchmaking environments.
Qualifications
- Secondary-school diploma or vocational certificate; apprenticeship in logistics, assembly or watchmaking preferred.
- Demonstrable manual dexterity and ability to handle small, delicate components with care.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reading pick lists, part numbers and work orders.
- Basic numeracy and ability to complete simple inventory counts and documentation.
- Ability to work standing for extended periods and to lift moderate loads safely.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; prior experience in production kitting, manufacturing logistics, watchmaking workshops or assembly support is an advantage but not mandatory.
Education
Secondary-school diploma; vocational training or apprenticeship in logistics, manufacturing or watchmaking preferred.
