Chanel is hiring a Key Account Manager in Hamburg — manage strategic wholesale accounts and drive growth for Chanel in Germany.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a defined portfolio of strategic wholesale and retail accounts in the Hamburg region (or nationally as assigned), delivering sales, margin and distribution objectives.
  • Develop and execute tailored commercial plans for each key account, including assortment, pricing, promotions and inventory cadence to maximise sell-through.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and contractual agreements with buyers while ensuring alignment with Chanel brand and pricing policies.
  • Act as primary liaison between accounts and cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, visual merchandising, product) to ensure flawless execution and on-time deliveries.
  • Monitor account performance through sales analysis and KPIs; produce regular reporting and forecasts to inform decision-making.
  • Drive business development by identifying expansion opportunities, new doors and partnership initiatives with strategic customers.
  • Represent the brand at client meetings, industry events and trade shows, delivering professional presentations of assortment and brand propositions.
  • Ensure brand integrity at point of sale through compliance with merchandising, presentation and training standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven commercial acumen with experience in account management, wholesale or wholesale distribution—preferably within luxury fashion, accessories or beauty.
  • Demonstrable negotiation skills and experience managing contractual terms with key retail partners.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience in sales forecasting, KPI tracking and P&L awareness.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills, able to build enduring relationships with senior buyers and internal teams.
  • High level of personal organisation with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines concurrently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
