Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all boutique administrative functions across the Kansai region, ensuring consistency with Chanel’s global retail standards and local regulations.
  • Serve as principal liaison between regional boutiques and Paris HQ for administrative processes, reporting, policy implementation and escalations.
  • Oversee HR-related administration: onboarding, payroll coordination, attendance and contract management in collaboration with People & Culture and payroll providers.
  • Manage regional financial administration: monitor budgets, assist with expense approvals, reconcile store-level reports and support month‑end close activities.
  • Implement and enforce SOPs for store operations, cash handling, loss prevention, and compliance audits; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate project administration for store openings, refurbishments and inventory relocations, including vendor management and timeline controls.
  • Produce and analyse operational KPIs and regular management reports to identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  • Train and coach store managers and administrative contacts on systems, processes and reporting expectations to ensure data accuracy and operational rigor.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership in retail administration or operations; ability to manage multiple boutiques across a region.
  • Strong organisational and analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to process, compliance and detail.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to influence at store and corporate levels.
  • Proven capacity to coordinate cross-functional projects (store openings, renovations, system rollouts).
  • Comfort with handling sensitive information and maintaining high standards of confidentiality and discretion.
