Chanel seeks a junior tailor for the Berlin boutique to deliver bespoke alterations and custom tailoring services.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute precise alterations and custom tailoring on Chanel haute couture and ready-to-wear garments
- Assess client needs and provide expert recommendations on garment modifications and fit
- Maintain detailed records of all alterations and client specifications
- Collaborate with boutique staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Uphold Chanel's quality standards and brand heritage through exceptional craftsmanship
Qualifications
- Proficiency in hand and machine sewing techniques
- Strong knowledge of garment construction and pattern alterations
- Ability to work with luxury fabrics and delicate materials
- Excellent eye for detail and precise measurement skills
- Experience with bespoke or couture tailoring preferred
Skills
Experience
Experience in professional tailoring or alterations, preferably in a luxury fashion or couture environment; junior-level candidates with strong technical foundation are encouraged to apply.
