Role & Responsibilities
- Support senior jewelry advisors in daily client-facing activities, including welcoming clients, managing appointments and preparing personalised consultations.
- Maintain in-boutique presentation of high-jewelry collections: merchandising windows, displays and product staging to brand visual standards.
- Assist with sales transactions and point-of-sale procedures; ensure accurate cash handling and reconciliation.
- Manage inventory activities and stock control — receive deliveries, perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate after-sales services and repairs with internal ateliers and external partners, tracking timelines and communicating status to clients.
- Build and maintain client dossiers through attentive clienteling; follow up on leads, gift notes and bespoke requests to foster long-term relationships.
- Contribute to boutique events and trunk shows, supporting logistical setup, client invitations and on-site client care.
- Uphold Chanel’s security, confidentiality and loss-prevention protocols in handling high-value items.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in luxury retail or fine/jewelry sales (1–2 years preferred).
- Strong client-service orientation with demonstrated ability to build and maintain high-net-worth relationships.
- Solid understanding of precious metals, gemstones and basic jewelry terminology; gemology certification preferred but not mandatory.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail when handling high-value merchandise.
- Availability for retail hours including weekends and occasional evenings for events.

Experience
Typically 1–2 years of experience in luxury retail or fine/jewelry sales; experience working with high-net-worth clients and handling high-value items is advantageous.
Education
Secondary education (high school diploma) required; vocational training or certifications in gemology, jewelry technology or luxury retail are a plus.
