Chanel in Madrid seeks a Junior HR & Health and Safety (training contract) to support HR operations and H&S compliance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, personnel file maintenance, documentation and HRIS data entry.
- Assist with recruitment logistics: scheduling interviews, screening candidates and coordinating assessments.
- Coordinate and track mandatory training programmes and facilitate learning sessions for store and corporate teams.
- Support Health & Safety activities: participate in risk assessments, maintain H&S documentation and assist with incident reporting and follow-up.
- Contribute to local compliance tasks (labour law, workplace safety) and liaise with external providers where required.
- Prepare HR reports and dashboards, collate metrics for HR and H&S leadership.
- Contribute to HR projects and continuous-improvement initiatives, including process standardisation and employee communications.
- Act as a point of contact for routine employee enquiries, escalating complex cases to senior HR or H&S specialists.
Qualifications
- Degree or vocational qualification in Human Resources, Occupational Health & Safety, Business Administration or a related discipline; enrolment in a recognised training programme may be acceptable for a training contract.
- Basic knowledge of labour law and local workplace safety regulations (Spain) or demonstrable willingness to learn.
- Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to documentation and process compliance.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a professional customer-service orientation when interacting with employees and external partners.

Early-career profile: typically 0–2 years of relevant experience. Internships, apprenticeships or prior administrative support roles in HR or H&S are advantageous.
Education
