Chanel Junior Fragrance Evaluator position, Neuilly-sur-Seine. Six-month contract in fragrance research and development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage sample reception, preparation, storage, and disposal for all Chanel fragrance and cosmetic products
- Prepare, execute, and monitor stability and compatibility testing protocols in accordance with established procedures
- Organize and coordinate internal olfactory evaluation sessions, preparing necessary materials and samples
- Participate in sensory evaluation sessions and provide expert assessments on olfactory acceptability
- Organize and oversee olfactory evaluation sessions with the external homologation laboratory to ensure regulatory compliance and raw material quality
- Maintain physical sample traceability, manage digital records, and update results across laboratory information systems
- Support laboratory operational efficiency and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced qualification in fragrance or cosmetics chemistry
- Demonstrated expertise in olfactory quality control
- Strong knowledge of cosmetic and fragrance product formulations
- Excellent command of laboratory information systems and database management
- Proficiency in confidentiality protocols and collaborative laboratory practices
Skills
Experience
Solid professional experience in olfactory quality control, with demonstrated proficiency in managing complex fragrance and cosmetics testing workflows. Prior exposure to the fragrance or cosmetics industry is essential.
Education
Advanced diploma or Bachelor's degree in Fragrance Science, Cosmetic Chemistry, or equivalent specialized qualification.
