Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end footwear development cycles: manage timelines from design approval through prototyping to production readiness.
  • Prepare and maintain technical dossiers and tech packs (materials, lasts, construction, specifications) for internal teams and suppliers.
  • Follow sample progression and organise fit sessions, capturing and communicating precise technical feedback to design and suppliers.
  • Liaise with design, sourcing, quality and production to ensure material availability, cost targets and compliance with brand standards.
  • Track costs and bill-of-materials; support costing exercises and supplier quotations for development and production phases.
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers and labs, scheduling deliveries and resolving technical or quality issues.
  • Update PLM records and internal tracking tools; ensure accurate version control of specification documents and samples.
  • Support cross-functional project meetings and escalate risks to meet launch deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in fashion design, product development, industrial design or equivalent vocational qualification.
  • Practical knowledge of shoe construction, lasts, materials and manufacturing techniques.
  • Strong technical writing skills for clear, precise tech packs and specification documents.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple development projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent French communication skills and professional working knowledge of English are highly advantageous.
