CHANEL is recruiting a Junior Embroidery Product Manager for a fixed-term contract (CDD), based in Paris and expected to start between December 2026 and January 2027. The role coordinates embroidery development for ready-to-wear collections, from sample launch through production handover, covering budgets, technical testing, sourcing, regulatory documentation and craftsmanship monitoring.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the launch of embroidery and samples by managing fabric and component shipments to embroiderers, issuing purchase orders, checking stock and prices, updating tracking sheets and the collection plan, and sharing information with internal teams and partners.
  • Prepare working meetings with the Studio and internal teams, supporting the Pole Manager and collaborating with the coordinator.
  • Create, complete and update technical files throughout development, including embroidery specifications, bills of materials, techniques and photographs of received samples.
  • Prepare pricing calculations, track the collection budget and contribute to risk analyses by proposing suitable technical solutions.
  • Optimize processes to reduce costs without compromising style by analysing techniques, components and manufacturing steps, and proposing alternative materials, simplified execution or innovative solutions that respect the creative intent.
  • Anticipate risks and resolve technical production issues by identifying delays, quality or feasibility obstacles, conducting risk analyses, and proposing, implementing and monitoring corrective actions.
  • Plan and manage industrial tests, including reproducibility trials, validation of materials and processes, and care tests.
  • Ensure embroidery is robust and reproducible in production.
  • Prepare commercial documents and help showcase craftsmanship.
  • Follow up on care tests, ensure composition information is complete and collect regulatory documentation.
  • Conduct occasional sourcing research; track development requests and orders; archive and return samples; and formalize regulatory information.
  • Support the Embroidery Pole Manager in ongoing monitoring of the product line, including components, materials, trade shows and visits.
  • Help disseminate embroidery craftsmanship knowledge across the product category, internally and among manufacturers and their ecosystems.
