Role & Responsibilities

• Handle cash transactions with customers using cash registers.
• Scan goods and collect payments.
• Ensure pricing is correct and issue receipts, refunds, or change.
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
• Resolve customer complaints and guide them to the appropriate personnel if necessary.
• Keep reports of transactions.
• Process returns and check to see if items are damaged.
• Answer customers' questions and provide information on procedures or policies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role.
• Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash registers and POS.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar cashier role within the retail or luxury sector is preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent.
