Role & Responsibilities
- Handle cash transactions with customers using cash registers.
- Scan goods and collect payments.
- Ensure pricing is correct and issue receipts, refunds, or change.
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
- Resolve customer complaints and guide them to the appropriate personnel if necessary.
- Keep reports of transactions.
- Process returns and check to see if items are damaged.
- Answer customers' questions and provide information on procedures or policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role.
- Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash registers and POS.
- Strong communication and time management skills.

Experience
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar cashier role within the retail or luxury sector is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
