Chanel seeks an IT Solutions Manager for Collection Development in Paris. Lead PLM Centric and collection systems strategy for the Fashion division.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and champion the strategic vision of collection development and manufacturing solutions in alignment with business objectives
- Gather, prioritize, and roadmap corrective actions and enhancements while translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications
- Drive the roadmap, lifecycle, and continuous evolution of solutions including PLM Centric and LECTRA platforms
- Collaborate across all IT teams, external vendors, and business partners to ensure operational continuity and optimize availability and performance of collection systems
- Ensure cohesion and integration between collection development solutions and the broader information systems landscape (ERP, PIM, DAM, etc.)
- Lead governance forums and track solution evolution and performance
- Oversee compliance, security, and data management protocols across collection development technologies
- Support user adoption and change management through training, documentation, and multi-tier technical support
- Deliver regular reporting on system utilization, business value creation, and improvement opportunities
- Manage operational and capital budgets for system maintenance and platform evolution
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar IT solutions management or PLM systems role
- Deep expertise with PLM Centric platform and related collection development and manufacturing solutions
- In-depth knowledge of fashion industry collection development workflows including 2D/3D design, pattern-making, and workshop production tracking
- Demonstrated mastery of agile and waterfall project management methodologies
- Proven ability to translate IT concepts for non-technical business stakeholders and drive alignment with operational partners
- Experience leading cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams and managing external vendor and editor partnerships
- Strong understanding of luxury and high-fashion business dynamics and collection development processes

Experience
Minimum 10 years of progressive responsibility in IT solutions management, preferably within luxury fashion or haute couture collection development environments. Proven track record leading complex technology implementations aligned with creative and operational excellence in the fashion industry. Experience managing PLM platforms and collection-specific manufacturing systems throughout their full lifecycle.", <parameter name="education">Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or equivalent professional qualification.
