Chanel seeks IT Solution Manager – After-Sales in Paris to oversee systems supporting repair and maintenance operations within the Fashion Division.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business and IT stakeholders managing applications directly impacting after-sales lead times and customer satisfaction
- Define and govern application strategy in alignment with after-sales operational needs, coordinating with the After-Sales IT Functional Lead on business governance
- Identify and source high-performing IT solution providers to support system development and delivery
- Oversee the distinction between routine enhancements and transformation initiatives requiring formal project or programme structures
- Manage cross-functional technical teams to ensure architecture, infrastructure, performance, and security standards are met
- Establish and enforce continuous delivery methodologies for system enhancements
- Frame, pilot, and monitor evolution implementation by technical teams in accordance with functional specifications
- Lead external project or programme teams implementing complex system requirements
- Design test plans and coordinate quality assurance and deployment activities with the transverse QA Lead
- Maintain comprehensive functional and technical documentation across all solutions and projects
- Oversee L1 support delivery to repair centres, manufacturers, and parts suppliers
- Ensure support team preparedness for system changes within project or programme initiatives
- Manage relationships with development teams, application maintenance vendors, software publishers, and internal support functions for bug resolution and continuous improvement
- Establish, monitor, and report on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and performance key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Synthesize complex technical issues for management escalation when necessary
Qualifications
- Degree from an engineering school or equivalent university qualification (Bac+5 minimum)
- Minimum 7 years of confirmed experience in project and programme management acquired within a management consulting firm, systems integrator (SSII), or equivalent role at a large multinational enterprise
- Demonstrated appetite for information technology solutions and strong capability in translating business processes into IT implementations
- Proficiency in managing stress and workload with strong ability to prioritise competing demands
- User and business-needs orientation with genuine curiosity about after-sales operational complexity
- Strong relational, communication, and team integration skills capable of directing IT partners and collaborating across business and technical functions
- Fluent English language proficiency

Experience
Minimum 7 years of project and programme management experience, preferably acquired within a management consulting firm, systems integrator, or large multinational enterprise. Proven track record in bridging business and IT functions, managing complex system implementations, and ensuring service continuity across geographically distributed user communities.
Education
Degree from an engineering school or equivalent university-level qualification (Bac+5 minimum).
