Chanel internship: IT Quality & Functional Documentation role in Paris. Create application documentation, design digital training content and support organizational excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Audit existing IT documentation including user guides, operational procedures, administrative guidelines, FAQs and training materials; identify obsolete, incomplete or misaligned content
- Update and author functional documentation tailored to different audience segments: end users, key users, administrators, and support teams; apply documentary standards including structure, terminology, readability, versioning and naming conventions
- Develop and maintain reusable documentation templates, procedure frameworks, quick-reference cards and FAQ libraries within collaborative platforms and IS repositories
- Conduct user research and needs analysis to identify gaps in existing training materials and documentation practices
- Explore and assess digital training formats and tools; recommend optimal approaches for video tutorials, interactive content, e-learning modules and practical guides
- Develop prototypes of innovative training content and educational materials; translate and adapt resources in French, English and Italian as needed
- Gather user feedback and implement continuous improvements to documentation quality and training accessibility
- Track and document all activities, maintain a prioritization plan for documentation updates, and deliver recommendations for enhanced knowledge management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Bac+4/Bac+5) or equivalent in information systems, quality management, project management, digital transformation, digital communication, instructional design or related discipline
- Prior experience in documentation, quality assurance, project management, application support, training, or digital transformation initiatives (preferred)
- Fluent French and professional-level English proficiency (spoken and written)
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
- Excellent writing, synthesis and information architecture skills with ability to distil complex technical concepts for non-specialist audiences
- Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence or ServiceNow (advantageous)
- Familiarity with video content creation, e-learning authoring tools or visual design (advantageous)
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in documentation, quality assurance, project management, application support, training coordination, or digital transformation initiatives is preferred but not required. Candidates should demonstrate strong capability in technical writing, process improvement, and user-centric design thinking.
Education
Bachelor's degree (Bac+4/Bac+5) or equivalent in information systems, quality management, project management, digital transformation, digital communication, instructional design, engineering pedagogy or related field. Currently enrolled students may be considered.
