Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the corporate investments team in sourcing, screening and executing minority and strategic investments.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models to value targets, run scenario analyses and underpin deal assumptions.
  • Perform market, sector and competitive research to inform investment theses and risk assessments.
  • Contribute to financial due diligence and coordinate information requests with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
  • Prepare clear, investment-grade presentations and investment memoranda for internal committees and senior management.
  • Monitor performance of existing investments and assist in portfolio reporting and KPI tracking.
  • Assist with administrative and project management tasks related to M&A processes and transaction closings.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's-level programme (Grande École, MSc or equivalent) in Finance, Corporate Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative aptitude with rigorous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrable experience from internships or academic projects in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or strategy preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to synthesise complex information for senior audiences.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality and ability to work within a fast-paced corporate environment.

Experience

Previous internship experience (typically 6–18 months cumulatively) in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, strategy or a related field is highly desirable; this role is suitable for a current Master's-level student seeking an apprenticeship placement.

Education

Enrolled in a Master's-level programme (Grande École, MSc or equivalent) in Finance, Corporate Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
