Chanel is hiring an Inventory Specialist in San Diego (Westfield UTC). Responsible for stockroom management, cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute daily receiving, inspection and accurate logging of incoming merchandise at the boutique stockroom.
- Perform regular cycle counts and full inventory audits; reconcile discrepancies and investigate variances with store management and regional logistics.
- Maintain exemplary stockroom organization, labelling, tagging and replenishment protocols to support visual merchandising and client requests.
- Coordinate transfers and returns with regional warehouses, communicate shipment statuses, and prepare goods for shipment following brand handling procedures.
- Implement loss-prevention and security procedures; report incidents and maintain accurate documentation for audits.
- Generate and maintain inventory reports, support weekly forecasting and communicate stock levels to sales and management teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum: high school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of retail inventory, stockroom or logistics experience; prior experience in luxury retail strongly preferred.
- Strong numerical aptitude, exacting attention to detail and proven accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise safely and to work standing for extended periods.
- Flexible availability including weekends and peak seasonal periods; reliable punctuality.

Experience
At least one year of hands-on experience in retail inventory or stockroom operations; experience within a luxury retail environment is an advantage.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics or retail operations is a plus.
