Chanel is hiring an Inventory Specialist at the Wynn boutique in Las Vegas, NV. Responsible for cycle counts, stock control and inventory reconciliation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform regular cycle counts and full inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy of boutique stock records.
- Receive, inspect and process inbound deliveries; verify quantities and condition against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies by liaising with boutique management, point-of-sale teams and loss-prevention.
- Maintain an organised, secure stockroom and ensure correct storage, tagging and handling of high-value merchandise.
- Operate inventory hardware and software (RF scanners, POS interfaces) and produce periodic inventory and shrinkage reports.
- Coordinate transfers and replenishments between boutique floor and stockroom; prepare merchandise for client appointments and visual merchandising.
- Support onboarding and training of boutique staff on inventory procedures and loss-prevention best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in inventory control, stockroom operations or retail logistics; luxury retail experience preferred.
- Demonstrable accuracy with cycle counts, stock reconciliations and handling of high-value merchandise.
- Strong numerical aptitude and proven ability to produce clear inventory reports.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and peak retail periods; must be able to stand, bend and lift merchandise safely.
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling client-related stock and sensitive information.
Skills
Experience
At least two years of hands-on inventory or stockroom experience in retail or logistics, with preference for candidates who have worked in luxury boutiques, hotel retail concessions or high-volume cosmetics/fragrance environments.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred.
