Chanel Paris | Stock Operations Manager | Full-time permanent role managing inventory operations and team at flagship Rue Cambon boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee a team of stock associates on a daily basis, ensuring coordination of all inventory activities and fostering team collaboration through effective information sharing
  • Serve as deputy to the Stock Manager, ensuring the team understands and deploys the Maison's strategic vision across all warehouse operations
  • Support the team in achieving performance targets, conduct individual performance reviews and one-to-one meetings with direct reports
  • Ensure team mastery of internal procedures and provide comprehensive training to new team members
  • Contribute to activity and resource planning for the boutique, including shift scheduling, break coordination, and workload distribution
  • Conduct and lead daily morning briefings to align the team on priorities and procedures
  • Co-manage the overall maintenance and presentation of the boutique according to established standards and guidelines
  • Identify operational solutions to streamline floor activities and collaborate cross-functionally with other boutique departments
  • Develop comprehensive product knowledge across all inventory product lines and stock categories
  • Oversee inbound and outbound product flows, including receipt of deliveries, verification of delivery notes, invoices and merchandise quality
  • Ensure compliance and proper documentation of Rue Cambon-specific inventory categories including press consignments, celebrity loans and representation lending
  • Monitor inter-boutique product transfers and serve as primary liaison with external transportation partners
  • Coordinate and manage rotating inventory counts by product family and oversee the annual full inventory audit
  • Manage quality returns, track allowances and follow-ups, and liaise with commercial and customer service teams
  • Champion deployment of innovative stock management projects including RFID implementation and digital logistics tools
  • Drive performance against assigned objectives and proactively propose action plans to achieve targets
  • Work in close collaboration with all boutique functions including cashiers, sales managers, visual merchandising, alterations, customer service and senior management
