Role & Responsibilities

  • Analyze project briefs and develop recommendations; challenge and refine project timelines as needed
  • Proofread and validate French source texts for grammatical accuracy, spelling, syntax, and semantic consistency across campaign materials
  • Brief external translators and translation agencies by documenting source materials and anticipating cultural adaptation requirements
  • Coordinate with regional subsidiaries (Asia, Japan, Europe, UK, US) and deliver tailored recommendations on translation management for each market
  • Monitor all stages of the translation cycle, provide recommendations to translators and validators, then review, challenge, and approve final translations
  • Ensure fidelity of brand messaging and consistency across all translated materials to guarantee translation quality
  • Track translation costs and budget, and prepare regular financial reports

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree + 5 years of education (Master's level or equivalent) in business, communications, or related field
  • Fluent English proficiency
  • Strong proofreading and editorial skills with attention to grammar, syntax, and stylistic coherence
  • Familiarity with luxury industry standards and sensibilities
  • Experience with translation project management or multilingual content coordination is an asset
