Chanel in Paris seeks an International Press Studies & Media Monitoring Assistant (Alternance) for Corporate communications starting Sept 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support international press monitoring and media intelligence across print, online and social channels; compile daily/weekly press digests for corporate stakeholders.
- Collect, curate and tag press clippings and digital coverage; ensure accurate archiving and metadata in the media database.
- Produce succinct analytical reporting on media share of voice, sentiment, and coverage trends for product lines and corporate topics.
- Maintain and update international media lists and contact databases; assist in segmentation for regional PR teams.
- Monitor competitor and industry communications; produce ad hoc briefs and competitive watch summaries.
- Coordinate with PR, communications and digital teams to ensure alignment of monitoring outputs and provide logistical support for press activities.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in a recognized higher-education program (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in communications, journalism, media studies, marketing or related discipline, eligible for alternance/work‑study.
- Strong analytical mindset with rigorous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written communication and summarisation skills in French; strong command of English desirable.
- Organisational aptitude and ability to manage multiple monitoring streams and deadlines.
