Chanel seeks an International Press Coordination Manager for its Watches & Fine Jewellery Division in Paris. Lead global press strategy and communications.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and strengthen the international PR community, fostering collaboration across markets and serving as the primary coordination point for all regions
- Manage spokesperson interview requests and Q&A preparation for senior executives (President, Creative Directors for Watches and Jewellery), from evaluation through publication and analysis
- Maintain regular relationships with spokespeople and draft interviews in French and English
- Oversee local deployment of global press strategies while accounting for regional and market specificities; ensure adoption of global guidelines
- Monitor the consistent application of validated strategies across the worldwide network
- Contribute to strategic presentations for the Press Director, notably during the Global PR Meeting
- Coordinate press participation at international events, including guest typology, editorial negotiations, on-site filming, and travel logistics
- Consolidate 360° visibility reporting based on strategic indicators (print/digital studies, social media, EMV) for presentation to senior management
- Analyze and report on regional activations (editorial shoots, events, influencer activations) to senior leadership
- Supervise budget consolidation and administrative tracking; manage invoice follow-up and administrative oversight
Qualifications
- Master's degree (Bac+4/5) in communication or equivalent university background
- 8–10 years of experience in similar roles within an international press environment
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills and comfort with digital tools
- Strong knowledge of the international media landscape and demonstrated interest in watches, fine jewellery, and the luxury universe
- Excellent written and verbal English proficiency
- Outstanding writing skills and mastery of digital communication and social media
- Highly collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with global teams

Experience
8–10 years of experience in international press relations, communications, or PR coordination roles within luxury or high-end brand environments. Demonstrated expertise in managing multi-market press strategies, coordinating with global teams, and handling executive-level communications.
Education
Master's degree (Bac+4/5) in communication, public relations, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent university-level background demonstrating strong communication expertise.
