Chanel seeks an Internal Auditor in Paris to execute risk‑based audits, assess controls and drive remediation across the organisation.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute risk‑based internal audits across finance, operations, retail and supply‑chain functions, including on‑site and remote fieldwork.
  • Assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls and business processes; identify control gaps and operational risks.
  • Prepare clear, evidence‑based audit reports with pragmatic recommendations and agreed remediation plans.
  • Monitor and follow up on remediation actions to ensure timely closure and sustained control improvements.
  • Perform data‑driven testing and analytics to identify exceptions, trends and control weaknesses.
  • Support SOX/compliance testing and contribute to enterprise risk assessments and control frameworks.
  • Liaise with business stakeholders and senior management to influence control enhancements and promote a control‑conscious culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional certification preferred (CIA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
  • Fluency in French and professional working proficiency in English.
  • Strong ethical standards, discretion and the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the capacity to present findings to senior stakeholders.

Experience
