Chanel in London seeks an Intelligent Automation Engineer to design and deploy RPA and AI-driven automation across business functions.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and deploy end-to-end intelligent automation solutions (RPA, AI/ML, OCR) to streamline cross-functional business processes.
  • Lead process discovery and assessment initiatives, mapping as-is workflows and defining automation opportunities with measurable KPIs and ROI.
  • Implement and maintain scalable automation architectures, including orchestration, exception handling, logging, and monitoring to meet SLAs.
  • Integrate automation solutions with enterprise systems via APIs, databases and middleware while ensuring data security and compliance.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, process owners and IT teams to prioritise automation backlog, govern deployments and manage change.
  • Develop and maintain reusable components, libraries, technical documentation and runbooks; support handover to operations teams.
  • Establish CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and version control for automation artifacts to accelerate reliable releases and governance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven certifications or hands-on experience with RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) preferred.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of AI/ML concepts applied to document processing and intelligent decisioning.
  • Strong understanding of API integration, secure data handling and enterprise architecture principles.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience delivering automation projects in cross-functional environments.

Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science or equivalent professional experience.
