Chanel seeks IP Intern in Geneva, Switzerland to support trademark, design and domain name portfolio management across international jurisdictions. 6-month internship starting January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Handle clearance, protection and enforcement of international trademark, design and domain name portfolios across diverse jurisdictions including Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Russia, Turkey, Poland, Scandinavia, India and Latin America
- Execute short- and longer-term IP portfolio enhancement projects in coordination with attorneys and paralegals, including auditing of existing rights and supplementing protection
- Conduct preliminary online research and support enforcement cases under attorney supervision
- Collate and organize documentary evidence required for legal actions and well-known mark recognition proceedings across multiple jurisdictions
- Perform legal research on IP topics in key markets, liaise with external lawyer networks, and analyze results in chart format
- Prepare and finalize template letters and legal correspondence
- Manage and process IP-related documents and databases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in law completed or currently enrolled
- Specialization in Intellectual Property with strong knowledge of trademarks and designs
- Advanced level written and spoken English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently with light supervision and collaboratively within a team
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills

Currently pursuing or recently completed postgraduate studies in Intellectual Property law
Education
Bachelor's degree in law with specialization or current pursuit of specialization in Intellectual Property
