Role & Responsibilities
- Support the enterprise architecture and integration teams in mapping application landscapes, interfaces and data flows across retail, wholesale and corporate systems.
- Assist in the design, documentation and maintenance of integration patterns, API specifications and architecture diagrams using established modelling notations.
- Contribute to hands-on integration tasks such as API testing, message transformation, and validation of end-to-end scenarios in development and staging environments.
- Perform technical analysis and research on middleware, cloud integration options and emerging patterns to inform architecture recommendations.
- Prepare presentations, technical whitepapers and implementation checklists for stakeholders and governance boards.
- Help maintain architecture repositories, runbooks and governance artefacts to ensure consistency with the enterprise architecture roadmap.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT delivery, security, data and business owners) to gather requirements and clarify integration needs.
- Support quality assurance activities related to interfaces, including participation in integration test cycles and issue tracking.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Basic understanding of integration concepts (APIs, messaging, ETL) and software architecture principles.
- Familiarity with modelling languages and architecture frameworks (UML, ArchiMate or TOGAF fundamentals preferred).
- Ability to analyse system interactions, draw clear architecture diagrams and document technical specifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for a multinational corporate environment.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work both independently and within interdisciplinary teams.

Internship-level role; prior academic projects, university coursework or short internships in systems integration, software development, cloud or enterprise architecture are advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
