Chanel seeks an Innovation Process Manager for makeup manufacturing at its Pantin facility. Lead process optimization and innovation projects in cosmetics production.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional projects focused on optimizing makeup manufacturing processes and production efficiency
- Develop and implement innovative process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce production costs
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to translate technical innovations into production-ready protocols
- Monitor and analyze process performance metrics, identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation
- Document and standardize new processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards
- Support the scale-up of innovative manufacturing techniques from pilot to full production
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related STEM field
- 3–5 years of experience in cosmetics manufacturing, process optimization, or product development
- Proficiency in process mapping, statistical analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
- Strong project management capabilities and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Knowledge of cosmetics formulation and makeup production techniques
- Fluent in French and English
Skills
Experience
3–5 years of professional experience in cosmetics manufacturing, process engineering, or innovation project management within the beauty or chemical industries. Experience working with makeup production lines and process improvement initiatives is highly valued.
Education
Bachelor's degree (Bac +3) or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a closely related STEM discipline.
