Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and operate the in-house Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), owning detection, triage, containment, eradication and recovery for security incidents.
  • Coordinate cross-functional incident response—working with SOC, IT infrastructure, legal, compliance, communications and business stakeholders—to resolve incidents and minimise business impact.
  • Develop, maintain and test incident response playbooks, runbooks and escalation procedures; conduct tabletop exercises and post-incident reviews.
  • Oversee threat hunting, malware and forensic analysis, root-cause investigations and long-term remediation tracking.
  • Manage and optimise security toolchain used for operations (SIEM, EDR, SOAR, network forensics) and integrate threat intelligence feeds and MITRE ATT&CK mappings into detection engineering.
  • Define and report operational KPIs, SLAs and maturity metrics to senior leadership; propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Line-manage, mentor and grow a high-performing CERT/IR team; coordinate external responders and third-party vendors when required.
  • Ensure incident handling aligns with regulatory and privacy obligations and supports timely breach notification when applicable.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading incident response or CERT operations within a complex enterprise environment.
  • Strong technical background in host, network and cloud forensics, malware analysis and threat hunting.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop response playbooks, run exercises and lead post-incident remediation programs.
  • Experience managing and mentoring technical teams; capacity to collaborate with executive stakeholders.
  • Relevant professional certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GCIA, GCIH or equivalent).
  • Fluency in French and professional proficiency in English preferred given local stakeholder ecosystem.
