Role & Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of information security governance frameworks and policies
- Assist in conducting risk assessments and vulnerability analyses across organizational systems
- Participate in compliance audits and regulatory reporting initiatives
- Help document security controls and evidence collection for compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, etc.)
- Monitor and track remediation of identified security risks and compliance gaps
- Support incident response procedures and post-incident review documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into business processes
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- Understanding of information security principles and the GRC framework
- Familiarity with risk management methodologies and compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple compliance-related projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Experience
Entry-level or graduate candidate with academic knowledge of cybersecurity and information security principles. Prior internship experience in IT, security operations, or compliance is advantageous but not required. Exposure to organizational security frameworks through coursework or project work is beneficial.
Education
Bachelor's degree (in progress or completed) in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Risk Management, Business Administration, or equivalent field of study.
