Chanel seeks an Industrial Management Control Apprentice in Verneuil-en-Halatte. Apprenticeship role supporting manufacturing cost control and financial reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support month-end close activities for manufacturing entities, including cost allocations and reconciliations.
- Prepare variance analyses comparing actual production costs to budgets and forecasts; explain key drivers to stakeholders.
- Contribute to budgeting and rolling-forecast cycles for industrial sites, consolidating inputs from production, maintenance and purchasing.
- Produce regular management reports and KPI dashboards to monitor scrap, yield, productivity and unit costs.
- Assist continuous-improvement and cost-reduction initiatives by modelling cost scenarios and tracking project savings.
- Collaborate with operations, purchasing and quality teams to ensure financial visibility of production changes and CAPEX projects.
- Automate reporting tasks and improve data flows between shop-floor systems and financial ledgers using Excel and ERP extracts.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's programme in Finance, Management Control, Accounting, Industrial Engineering or equivalent (alternance/apprenticeship track).
- Strong analytical aptitude with demonstrable comfort handling numerical datasets.
- Proven ability to produce clear, structured management reports and explain financial variances to non-finance stakeholders.
- Capacity to work effectively within cross-functional manufacturing teams and to manage competing priorities.
- High level of personal organization, attention to detail and intellectual curiosity.
Skills
Experience
Open to candidates in an alternance/apprenticeship programme; prior internships or project experience in finance, management control or within an industrial/manufacturing environment are advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's or Master's programme (Finance, Management Control, Accounting, Industrial Engineering or equivalent) as part of an alternance/apprenticeship.
