Chanel is hiring an Industrial and Logistics Operational Excellence Manager to lead continuous improvement across three factories and one logistics centre, advancing performance and team autonomy. The role is a permanent position focused on industrial and logistics transformation, performance management and cross-site best-practice sharing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define, deploy and lead the continuous improvement approach across three factories and one logistics centre.
- Build and manage an Operational Excellence roadmap aligned with industrial and logistics priorities, define expected outcomes and track progress over time.
- Analyse production and logistics processes to identify performance improvement opportunities.
- Lead priority improvement initiatives with operational teams, structure reporting and ensure benefits are measured in partnership with management control.
- Deploy the performance management system from the shop floor through to leadership bodies.
- Disseminate continuous improvement methods and standards, and develop a shared performance culture through training programmes, professional communities and the sharing of best practices.
- Organise the capture and replication of effective initiatives across sites, and contribute to transformation, organisational and digitalisation projects.
- Functionally lead a network of stakeholders and manage multidisciplinary project teams.
Qualifications
- Bac+5 degree, ideally in general engineering, complemented by an industrial or logistics specialisation and a Lean Black Belt certification.
- Substantial experience in industry or consulting at the intersection of operational and support functions, including methods, flows and transformation, with tangible achievements deploying and leading continuous improvement initiatives, ideally in a multi-site environment.
- Recognised expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Lean Logistics, industrial performance management, project management and change management.
- Good knowledge of management tools and information systems supporting performance, including SAP, MES and supervision tools.
