Chanel seeks an Indirect Procurement Manager in Hong Kong to drive strategic sourcing, supplier partnerships, and S2P excellence across HKMO markets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own assigned indirect spend categories (OPEX and CAPEX), driving RFX processes, market benchmarking, and data-driven negotiations to deliver measurable value and protect brand standards
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert and trusted procurement advisor to Business Units, guiding internal stakeholders on procurement processes and elevating the overall procurement experience
- Build and manage high-impact local supplier partnerships, leading segmentation, performance evaluations, total cost optimization, contractual due diligence, and risk monitoring via designated tools
- Serve as the market Super User for Coupa/S2C, facilitating training, coaching, and change management while enforcing quality project documentation and policy compliance
- Integrate sustainability principles into sourcing strategies, contribute to CSR supplier audit initiatives, and support APAC regional ESG goals and commitments
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of procurement or managerial experience within multinational corporations with solid strategic sourcing, contract drafting, and negotiation track records
- In-depth understanding of end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes and hands-on experience with e-Procurement tools (Coupa, SAP, or Ariba)
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related disciplines
- Strong analytical capabilities with intermediate Excel proficiency and practical experience in vendor risk management and due diligence
- Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship-building skills with fluent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Skills
Experience
Minimum 7+ years of procurement or managerial experience within multinational corporations, with demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management. Experience in luxury retail or FMCG sectors is advantageous. Hands-on implementation or optimization experience with e-procurement platforms such as Coupa or SAP is highly valued.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related disciplines. CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) qualification is an advantage.
