Chanel Madrid seeks an Indirect Procurement Intern to support sourcing, supplier management and spend analysis for indirect categories.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the indirect procurement team across categories such as IT, marketing, facilities, HR and professional services.
- Assist in the preparation and management of RFx processes, supplier selection and comparative analyses.
- Consolidate and analyse spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and category trends.
- Prepare purchase orders, supplier documentation and support contract administration and compliance checks.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (finance, legal, operations, marketing) to ensure procurement needs are captured and timelines met.
- Contribute to supplier performance tracking, onboarding activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Produce clear reports and presentations for procurement managers to inform decision-making.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
- Strong analytical ability with attention to numeric detail and data hygiene.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential commercial information.
Skills
Experience
No previous senior experience required; prior internship or coursework in procurement, supply chain, finance or a related discipline is advantageous and will be considered a plus.
Education
Enrolment in a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate programme (Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Economics, Engineering or similar).
