Chanel Taipei seeks Indirect Procurement Manager with 7+ years experience in strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier performance optimization.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commodity sourcing strategies across assigned spend categories, conducting spend analysis and formulating category-specific execution plans
- Lead RFX processes and price/contract negotiations to maximize value and protect brand integrity
- Establish and manage strategic supplier relationships through performance evaluations, joint review meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business objectives and optimize supplier relationships
- Monitor sourcing strategy implementation, ensure TCO reductions are achieved, and communicate results against performance metrics
- Support sustainable procurement expertise development and drive green sourcing initiatives aligned with ESG commitments
- Design and manage procurement transformation projects with accountability for timeline, resource planning, and risk mitigation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline
- Minimum 7 years of procurement experience in multinational companies with focus on category management or supplier management
- Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English
- Demonstrated experience in Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes
- Proficiency with e-Procurement tools and strategic sourcing techniques
- CIPS qualification (preferred)
- Green Sourcing experience (preferred)
Skills
Experience
Substantial minimum of 7 years of procurement experience in multinational companies with demonstrated focus on category management and supplier management. Preferably experienced in luxury retail, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors. Experience implementing global or regional transformational projects is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline.
