Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the in-store visual merchandising programme for Chanel boutiques in Seoul, translating global VM directives into locally-relevant installations and window concepts.
  • Design, plan and execute seasonal store sets, window displays and internal visual concepts that reinforce product narratives and commercial objectives.
  • Manage and mentor a team of in-store visual merchandisers and installers; coordinate schedules, task allocation and on-the-job training.
  • Oversee installation logistics, timelines and quality control for all VM projects, ensuring brand standards and luxury presentation at all times.
  • Collaborate closely with store management, retail operations, buying and marketing to align VM initiatives with assortment, events and sales targets.
  • Control and manage VM budgets, props inventory and external supplier or fabricator relationships; negotiate scopes and delivery timelines.
  • Develop and maintain internal VM guidelines, shop-floor planograms and visual directives adapted to the physical constraints of each boutique.
  • Monitor KPIs related to store presentation and conversion; collect market feedback and propose continuous improvements to enhance customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in luxury visual merchandising with experience executing high-end window and in-store displays.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with ability to manage, coach and inspire boutique VM teams.
  • Deep understanding of spatial planning, colour, materials and scale as applied to luxury retail environments.
  • Strong organisational skills with experience managing multiple projects and strict installation deadlines.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with operations, buying and marketing.

Experience
