Chanel Seoul is hiring an In‑store Visual Merchandising Coordinator to execute window displays and store sets. Open under the company’s disabled recruitment program.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Implement Chanel visual merchandising standards across the Seoul boutique, including window displays, in‑store vignettes and seasonal floor sets.
  • Coordinate store resets and seasonal launches from concept through installation, liaising with regional VM and store leadership to ensure brand consistency.
  • Manage fixture, prop and display inventory; organise storage, transport and on‑site maintenance of VM assets.
  • Translate global and regional VM concepts into installable plans adapted to the boutique’s architecture and commercial objectives.
  • Supervise and instruct store teams on merchandising standards, garment presentation, mannequin styling and product adjacencies.
  • Schedule and oversee third‑party installers and contractors when required, ensuring installations meet safety and aesthetic specifications.
  • Conduct regular visual audits and prepare photographic documentation and post‑installation reports for the regional VM team.
  • Work with store operations to minimise commercial disruption during installations and coordinate stock staging and replenishment for display changes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in visual merchandising within luxury retail (typically 2+ years), ideally with fashion or leather goods.
  • Strong visual sensibility and detailed knowledge of luxury product presentation, fabrics and tailoring proportions.
  • Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate them into pragmatic, on‑brand store solutions.
  • Physical capability to handle installations (lifting, climbing ladders) and to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to train and motivate store teams.
