Chanel Import Specialist in Chiba, Japan – manage customs, tariff compliance, and international trade operations for luxury goods.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit import documentation including customs declarations, bills of lading, and commercial invoices
- Manage tariff classification and duty optimization for luxury merchandise shipments
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to facilitate timely clearance
- Monitor and ensure compliance with Japanese import regulations and international trade agreements
- Track import shipments from origin to final destination, resolving any clearance delays or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of import transactions and regulatory filings for audit purposes
