Chanel — Paris: Internship for an Assistant in Image & Content Creation (Horlogerie & Joaillerie), starting Sept 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the creative team in the production of still and motion imagery for Horlogerie and Joaillerie campaigns, e-commerce and social media.
- Assist on-set during studio and location shoots: preparation of pieces, set dressing, lighting adjustments and coordination with photographers and stylists.
- Perform post-production tasks including RAW processing, retouching, color correction and compositing to Chanel visual standards.
- Prepare, optimize and format assets for web, mobile and social platforms while ensuring correct metadata and naming conventions.
- Maintain the digital asset library (ingest, tagging, archiving) and ensure version control and secure handling of high-value items.
- Contribute to moodboards, visual research and creative proposals for seasonal storytelling.
- Liaise with production, merchandising and legal teams to ensure product accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines and confidentiality protocols.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a recognised programme in photography, visual communication, graphic design, film production or a related discipline.
- Demonstrable portfolio of photography, retouching or content projects showing a refined visual sensibility and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of studio lighting, product/still-life techniques and handling of delicate jewellery/timepieces.
- Strong organisational skills, discretion when handling valuable objects and ability to follow strict brand and quality standards.
- Proactive team player with good communication skills and the capacity to work under tight production schedules.

Experience
Previous hands-on experience through internships, agency projects or academic production work in photography, retouching or visual content creation; a portfolio demonstrating product imagery and finished assets is required.
Education
Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Photography, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Film Production, Fashion Communication, or equivalent.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Paris, Île-de-France, France.
